it's been!" From our humble beginnings
to our current reality; a strong and prestigious
customer base; a performance improvement solution
set that addresses enterprise dashboards, scorecards
and trend reporting throughout your organization
as well as Physician Profile & Reviews,
Root Cause Analysis and much, much more, we
have truly come a long, long way. We have received
hundreds of congratulatory messages together
with many questions. Most questions could be
summarized into a few. I will do my best to
answer each of these.

Q: Who is MIDAS+?
A: MIDAS+ is a separate business unit
of Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) and the
Healthcare Solutions Division. MIDAS+ is the
market leader in medical information management
technology with a portfolio of integrated solutions
to meet your outcomes, patient safety, case
management, comparative benchmarking, credentialing,
bed management, accreditation readiness needs

Q: What immediate changes will take
place?
A: The most visible change will be in
our name. Our new name is "MIDAS+ Statit
Solutions Group." A mouthful but extremely
important in that the "whole" is greater
than the sum of the parts (MIDAS+, Statit, Solutions)!
Additionally, we will now have access to far
greater resources including healthcare domain
expertise with medical doctors, nurses and other
healthcare practioners, as well as talented
engineers, support staff, sales and marketing
professionals, and smart and experienced administrators.
Q: What will your focus be?
A: We will continue to provide the very
best in performance improvement solutions including
enterprise metrics, physician profiles and root
cause, together with unsurpassed customer service
to the healthcare industry. Although we will
be working closely with MIDAS+ on integration
and additional value adds, we will continue
to work with all healthcare customers regardless
of vendor affiliation.

Q: Will you continue to offer complimentary,
educational seminars and webinars?
A: Absolutely! We are committed to helping
healthcare personnel learn and apply techniques
which aid in improving quality while reducing
costs. We will continue to offer these webinars
through our association with the American Society
for Quality (ASQ) as well as to present and
provide our own presentations.
