With apologies to Jerry Garcia and the Grateful
Dead, "…what a long, strange trip
it's been!" From our humble beginnings
to our current reality…a strong and prestigious
customer base and a performance improvement
solution set that addresses enterprise quality
reporting and services. We have received hundreds
of congratulatory messages together with many
questions. Most questions could be summarized
into a few. I will do my best to answer each
of these.

Q: Who is ACS Midas+?
A: ACS Midas+, a business unit within
the ACS Healthcare Solutions Group of Affiliated
Computer Services, Inc. (ACS). ACS is a premier
provider of diversified business process outsourcing
(BPO) and information technology (IT) services
and solutions to commercial and government clients
worldwide. You can learn more about ACS by visiting

Q: What immediate changes will take
place?
A: The most visible change will be in
our name. Our new name is "Midas+ Statit
Solutions Group." A mouthful but extremely
important in that the "whole" is greater
than the sum of the parts (Midas+, Statit, Solutions)!
Additionally, we will now have access to far
greater resources including talented engineers,
support staff, sales and marketing professionals,
as well as smart and experienced administrators.
Q: What will your focus be?
A: We will continue to provide the very
best in performance improvement solutions to
both the manufacturing and healthcare markets.
Statit Software has served these industries
for over two decades, and the inclusion of ACS'
knowledge in the Document & Data Management,
Finance & Accounting, Human Capital Management,
and Information Technology arenas will allow
us to continue providing the excellent customer
service we are known for.

A: We will continue to operate out of
our offices in Corvallis, Oregon. Our contact

Q: Will you continue to offer complimentary,
educational seminars and webinars?
A: Absolutely! We are committed to helping
you learn and apply techniques which aid in
improving quality while reducing costs. We will
continue to offer these webinars through our
association with the American Society for Quality
(ASQ) as well as to present and provide our
own presentations.
Continuing down the lava lamp and tie dye clothing
path, the Grateful Dead lyrics finish with "…sometimes
the lights all shining on me, other times I
can barely see…lately it appears to me,
what a long, strange trip it's been!" Strange?
Maybe…Exciting?...You better believe it!
