  • SPC and the Cost of Quality

The Cost of Quality has been defined as the sum of 4 separate costs: the cost of prevention, the cost of appraisal, the cost of internal failure and the cost of external failure. You can use the Statit SPC tools to understand and adjust these costs.

Upcoming Webinar: c and u...Moving Beyond the i Chart

This webinar explores the uses and misuses of the i, u and c charts in the Manufacturing and Service industries. An i chart is often used when a u or c chart would be more useful and effective. We will present some basic theory of these charts as well as useful guidelines on choosing which chart to use.

Join us for this complimentary webinar on March 21 at 1:00pm PST. The webinar will last approximately 60 minutes. Space is limited so don't delay!

Daylight Savings Time, 2007 Changes and Statit Software

Beginning in 2007, the United States and Canada are changing the dates for Daylight Savings Time (DST) clock adjustments.

The new change starts DST on the second Sunday of March (March 11, 2007) and ends DST on the first Sunday of November (November 4, 2007).

Statit Software scheduling algorithms rely on the operating system to obtain data and time information.

Please be sure to check that your Microsoft operating system is correctly configured to manage the new DST changes in the U.S. and Canada. For more information, visit the Microsoft web site set up specifically to assist customers in managing DST and time zone changes to Microsoft operating systems and applications at:
