Expanded Role of the Process Expert

Process Experts play a critical role in driving performance improvement. Statit provides essential, easy-to-use tools that help the Process Expert perform their duties while making their actions transparent to users. Holding the Process Expert accountable for performance and making their actions transparent will help you to more quickly reach your Performance Improvement objectives.

Existing tools within Statit for the Process Expert include:
  • Add Comments and Action Plans for each of the Process Expert's indicators
  • Identify Process changes by indicating a new Phase and automatically determine if those process changes had the desired impact(s)
  • Identify situations where the performance for a period was due to an outside factor (e.g. Hurricane Katrina).
The recent Statit release provides two additional tools for the Process Expert:
  • Interactively set Target, Alarm, and Benchmark values for each period (just click on a point and set the values)
  • Check for Correlation with other indicators (e.g. between Patient Satisfaction and Nursing Staff hours)
