Utilizing Statit e-QC for Oracle Quality Reporting
|

Oracle Quality is an enterprise-wide quality
system that lets you collect and distribute
quality data throughout your supply chain. The
Quality module is customizable for almost any
quality data collection requirement such as:
- establishing quality standards for products,
processes and suppliers;
- ensuring product tests are performed at the
right time and documenting all test results;
- and collecting information about product defects,
their causes and their related dispositions.
Oracle Quality can collect enormous amounts of
quality data from multiple sources; however, this
data is not typically available in a way that
lets you quickly and easily spot trends, anticipate
problems and identify underlying causes.
Managing quality control at the enterprise
level can be a daunting task, especially when
organizations have facilities worldwide, each
with their own production schedules and often
individualized processes. The challenge is to
provide a software solution that is cost-effective;
configurable to meet a wide range of information
needs and skill levels; easy to use, support,

The Statit e-QC application has allowed Oracle
Quality customers to report from a common toolset,
with the ease-of-use of a point-and-click interface.
The tool allows engineers to build and prototype
their reports from Oracle Quality, as well as
any other data sources they may have, be it
any delimited file sources, ODBC compliant databases,
Excel or Access. Data can also be written back
to these data sources, so any analysis, comments,
action plans or process changes that are annotated
to a chart, can be save as a permanent record
along with that report.
