PPR provides a consistent interface for
users so that they don't have to learn the intricacies
of each different reporting system in the hospital.
Statit PPR allows each physician to compare
their performance with their peer group. In
addition to providing a profile with information
pertaining to performance and quality metrics,
Statit provides detailed trend information,
in the form of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
charts as preferred by The Joint Commission.
Control charts are automatically created and
maintained within the system. It is easy for
the physician to drill down to summarized patient
records for the data point and ultimately, to
the individual patient record. In this way,
the physician can be confident that the data
pertaining to their performance is valid. Additionally,
the encounter level data provides a backdrop
to the physician and medical officer with root
cause detail, culminating in corrective action
plans.
