Pareto and Paynter Chart Analysis. There are
often many different aspects of a manufacturing
process which can be improved, such as the number
of defects, time allocation, cost savings, etc.
Each of these aspects usually contain many smaller
problems making it difficult to determine how
to go about solving the larger one. Using Statit’s
web-based application, we will demonstrate the
use of Pareto Charts and the ability of users
to drill-down through their defect data to determine
the root cause. We will also show how Paynter
Charts are the next step in providing more detailed
information about the Pareto and areas of opportunity
for improvement.
